Much of the dialogue in HBO’s Veep is absolutely ridiculous, albeit hilarious. It’s even sillier, and also just weird, when it’s paired with some of the darkest moments of 24.
The Tumblr 24veep randomly matches Veep subtitles with screenshots from 24. Lines from Selina Meyer and her staff have a much different tone when they’re coming from Jack Bauer. Or anyone using torture as “persuasion.”
There are dozens of pages spanning all kinds of scenes from 24. Some of the best involve President Palmer, who wasn’t exactly the same kind of politician as Selina Meyer. None of the pairs are intentional, according to the Tumblr. It’s all just a “hilarious accident.”
