Previous Logan trailers and teasers have shown off his claws and weariness, but this new clip reminds us of all the growling that usually accompanies Hugh Jackman’s X-Men performances. The rumbling coming from his larynx and diaphragm is heavier than ever, which is why it’s hard to believe that the “Okie Dickheads” who threaten Logan and whoever Eriq LaSalle’s playing here don’t wise up right away. Instead, they brandish guns—another familiar sight—that are quickly repossessed and destroyed by the aging mutant. We doubt they’ve actually learned their lesson, though.
Logan and its R rating hit theaters March 3.
