This week on the Hater podcast, Amelie Gillette and Onion staff writer Will Tracy spent 12 weeks living in a simulated post-apocalyptic scenario, a la The History Channel's reality series The Colony—they scavanged for food, purified their own water, protected their shelter from marauders, and tried to establish their own society along with other "survivors." Weirdly, they also found the time to have a spirited discussion about Miracle Whip's place in the hipster pantheon; Showtime's misguided The Real L Word reality series; Jon Gosselin, pick-up artist; and other important terrible things. If you listen closely, you can hear the roar of the "marauders" motorcycles as they circle the camp.
