This rotoscoped “Shake It Off” video is a pretty decent excuse to listen to “Shake It Off”

“Shake It Off” has appeared in so many variations and permutations that it’s sometimes easy to forget just how tremendous of a jam it is on its own. So maybe it’s for the best that this hand-drawn, rotoscoped version of the “Shake It Off” video made by 49 University Of Newcastle Australia students leaves the audio well enough alone. You get to admire the hard work, dedication and diversity of ideas of a group of students each tasked with producing 52 frames of unique animation, all while listening to an unmashed, chopless and screwless version of 2014’s biggest hit. It’s truly the best of both worlds.
