Listen, this supercut of movie sword fights isn’t going to be mind blowing. There’s not going to be some surprise at the end that makes you see sword fights in a different light or obscure piece of sword fight cinema that’s lost to the ages. It’s just a bunch of sword fights cut together. Granted, the pacing of the entire piece is done to resemble one sword fight (build up, action, someone gets hurt, etc.) and the music is from Kill Bill, but it’s still just a bunch of sword fights. It doesn’t really matter though, because, man, sword fights are really cool. There’s something about two or more people swinging hunks of steel (or laser, as the case may be) at each other that can’t really be matched by any other form of physical conflict.
