This unofficial Tintin opening-credits sequence should probably just be the real Tintin opening-credits sequence

This fan-made opening credits sequence is about 15 million years old in Internet time (translation: six days), but if you’re aiming for online longevity, there are few combos more surefire than a beloved, timeless pop-culture commodity (Hergé’s The Adventures Of Tintin) plus a highly anticipated major film release (Steven Spielberg’s upcoming adaptation) plus stylized, wonderfully executed animation. Animator James Curran’s imagining of the Tintin opening incorporates elements from each of the 24 Tintin titles, and while the flat, simple Flash animation is about as far as you can get from Spielberg’s motion-capture approach to the film, it’s as colorful and charming as anything we’re likely to see on the big screen come December.
