Now that Sarah Koenig has dialed Serial’s release schedule back to every two weeks, it seems like it’s been a long time since we last heard about Bowe Bergdahl—or, at least, about his troubled plight. Koenig and her squad are back with not one but two new episodes of Serial today, and thus The Serial Serial has returned as well. This week, Josh, Marah, and guest Gus are not only talking about the latest Bergdahl-centric episode, “5 O’Clock Shadow,” but also about Koenig’s new mini-episode updating Serial listeners with what’s going on with Adnan Syed.
