This year's Grammys will feature a live Beatles reunion (of the alive Beatles)

Potentially thrilling Beatles fans everywhere, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will perform together at this year’s Grammys. While the reunion is a bit surprising, it’s not entirely out of left field: Starr is set to receive this year’s Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award, while McCartney is also up for a few awards—including Best Rock Song for “Cut Me Some Slack,” the track he recorded with the remaining members of Nirvana.

Other newly confirmed performers at this year’s Grammys include Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Kacey Musgraves, John Legend, and Macklemore And Ryan Lewis. Carole King will duet with previously announced performer Sara Bareilles, while other acts we already knew we'd be seeing include Daft Punk, Stevie Wonder, Nile Rodgers, Pharrell Williams, Metallica, Katy Perry, Lorde, Robin Thicke, Chicago, Pink, fun. frontman Nate Ruess, Kendrick Lamar, Imagine Dragons, Merle Haggard, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, and Blake Shelton.

The 56th annual Grammy Awards will take place in Los Angeles on January 26, and will air live on CBS.
