Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant are also directing movies now

Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant have long tested the affections of The State fans while making lots of money off the people who actually matter by scripting movies like Herbie: Fully Loaded and Night At The Museum. Now they’re finally ready to step out completely on their own and take all the credit/blame, signing up to make their co-directorial debut on Hell Baby, a supernatural comedy produced by Richard Kelly’s Darko Entertainment. Deadline reports that Rob Corddry is set to star alongside Leslie Bibb (in the role of “woman who definitely looks like she would be married to Rob Corddry and also carrying his child”), playing an expectant couple who move to “the most haunted fixer-upper in New Orleans,” where they are forced to hire the Vatican’s “elite exorcism team” to save them from a demonic infant. Lennon and Garant will also co-star as said exorcism squad, which suggests they’ll at least get to use their comedy Italian voices, so that’s something.
