Ike Barinholtz’s directorial debut, The Oath, centers Chris (Barinholtz himself) and his wife, Kai (Tiffany Haddish), as they clash with their relatives after learning that U.S. citizens are being asked to sign a loyalty oath to the president. Ahead of the film’s premiere, we sat down with Haddish and Barinholtz to talk about the film, if they’d ever sign the loyalty oath, and the importance of voting in November.
