Tiger Flowers bare fangs on the debut of “Tectonics Of Teeth”

It’s not clear if Dead Hymns, the debut album by the Brooklyn hardcore cadre Tiger Flowers, is a concept album of some kind. Yet the motif of teeth pops up a lot, which might have something to do with an unprepared listener’s tendency to lose one or two while rocking out to Dead Hymns. Sure enough, the standout track “Tectonics Of Teeth”—being debuted here—sports enough whiplash riffage and metallic, Converge-esque bile to either dislodge or dissolve an entire set of dental work. Not to mention most of one’s sanity. Guard your grill.

Dead Hymns will be released April 8 via Melotov Records.
