Tilda Swinton kills zombies with a samurai sword in The Dead Don't Die trailer

The first trailer for The Dead Don’t Die is like a checklist of awesome reasons to see Jim Jarmusch’s zombie comedy (or a Stefon nightclub gone wild): Bill Murray and Adam Driver doing the buddy cop thing, but with zombies; an insane cast that includes Chloe Sevigny, Selena Gomez, Iggy Pop, Steve Buscemi, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, and RZA; a zombie Carol Kane demanding chardonnay; and Tilda Friggin’ Swinton as a sword-wielding mortician. If all of that doesn’t push The Dead Don’t Die to the top of your most-anticipated 2019 movies list, then you’re (un)dead to me.

When the title card in the trailer proclaims Jarmusch’s latest as having “the greatest zombie cast,” it’s not hyperbole. The names above are just a fraction of the familiar faces we’ll see in the filmmaker’s upcoming comedy, which pits a veritable fuck-ton of your faves against zombies in a movie that screams “Your move, Zombieland 2.” And while Driver and Murray’s deadpan buddy cop deal is certainly appealing, I cannot for the life of me get over Carol Kane’s wine-mom zombie and Tilda Swinton–who is basically serving up Scottish gelfling samurai realness.

The Dead Don’t Die also stars Rosie Perez, Tom Waits, and Austin Butler, and hits theaters on June 14.
