Tilda Swinton knows the secret to great tenderloins in this Ojka trailer

Have you given enough thought to the problem of pig nightmares? Let us save you the effort of actually pondering that question and just say, “By the metric of the character played by Tilda Swinton in this weird promo video for Okja, almost certainly not.” Okja is the new film from director Bong-Joon Ho, and it finds him re-teaming with his Snowpiercer collaborator Swinton. The plot of the movie is still vague—something to do with a young girl named Mija, a creature, and an official description of the movie that says Mija will “the harsh realities of genetically modified food experimentation, globalization, eco-terrorism, and humanity’s obsession with image, brand and self-promotion.”

But none of that is present here. Instead, we get Swinton’s smiling CEO Lucy Mirando, telling us all about the wonders of her Mirando corporation. It apparently puts great products of all stripes into your home, but more importantly, it addresses the humane treatment of pigs. Sure, it delivers pork products, but the company is dedicated to making sure those pigs have pleasant dreams. The alternative, as Mirando makes clear, is something that resembles a deranged PETA video. It may be an oblique connection to the movie, but it’s Tilda Swinton doing something, which means we’re in. Okja begins streaming on Netflix on June 28.
