Tim Meadows on No Activity, and his big scene with J.K. Simmons

CBS All Access’ new show No Activity is the anti-action show. It’s set over the course of a major drug cartel bust, but rather than use that as an opportunity for lengthy action sequences or gritty drama, it focuses on the unremarkable, mundane moments in which nothing of interest happens—hence the name No Activity. We spoke with SNL veteran Tim Meadows, who co-stars as Detective Judd Tolbeck, about the show and what it was like working with J.K. Simmons.
