Tired of merely inspiring terrible reality TV, Kelsey Grammer to make his own
Having apparently tabled those confusing plans for a "social media-based" Frasier reunion, Kelsey Grammer seems to be embracing his newfound tabloid infamy by beating ex-wife and Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer at her own game: reality TV, which he’s hoping to produce under his new G3 Prods shingle with “reality TV maven” Stella Bulochnikov-Stolper, the crooked invisible hand behind Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. The pair is already working together on the forthcoming Starz drama Boss and are now looking to explore more unscripted formats, with Stolper saying, “I knew that Kelsey loved this space, and would love to pop some big shows.” Wait, can you “pop” a show? Is that acceptable slang? Perhaps someone could get one of the guys from Kid ’N’ Play or something to weigh on in this.
Anyway, there’s no word yet on what sort of programming Grammer may be considering (the Increasingly Regret-Filled Husbands Of Beverly Hills?), but a spokesman for G3’s new partner in distribution, Zodiak USA, promises it will be everything you’ve come to expect from Kelsey Grammer, as “Kelsey brings to the table an iconic brand.” Oh, don’t we know.
