Ain't It Cool posted a story today that Avatar director/king of the world James Cameron has said there will be a sequel to the film—shocking!—and a second sequel, as he always wanted it to be a trilogy. He apparently talked about it at a Q&A in Hollywood earlier this week.
Maybe the $1 billion and counting will give Cameron the juice to include a sex scene, as he reportedly shot for Avatar but cut to receive the PG-13 rating. CNN.com's Marquee blog reports that the scene, between Zoe Saldana's Neytiri and Sam Worthington's avatar, will be included on the DVD. Hey, Mr. Cameron, could you make it sound creepy?
"That [scene] will be something for the special edition DVD, if you want to see how they have sex," Cameron said.
