Today in Cranston: Bryan Cranston to host Television Critics Association Awards
In deference to the way that every medium can be improved by being slow-simmered in Cranston, Bryan Cranston has been hired to host this year's Television Critics Association Awards, which is sort of like ice cream being asked to host the Fat Person Awards. Cranston joins a lineage of past TCA emcees that includes Conan O'Brien, Nick Offerman—and, according to the press release, anyway—other "luminaries" like Dax Shepard. The ceremony takes place on July 28; ironically, it is not televised, as no one who watches TV cares about what a bunch of TV critics like, obviously.
