While the rest of the internet is debating whether You’ve Got Mail or Sleepless In Seattle is the better movie this Valentine’s Day, The A.V. Club has been spending its time perusing the You’ve Got Mail website, which apparently is still a thing that exists. Ripe with flash and sound effects, the site for the 1998 movie is pure vintage Internet gold. While now the 'net is all about cramming maximum info into mobile-friendly windows, the You’ve Got Mail page is all white space, bad fonts, and tiny, tiny pictures of Tom Hanks. Too bad Sleepless In Seattle doesn't have a site.
