Today in Hobbit-related disasters: Two workers injured in industrial explosion

Adding another scene to the inevitable Hobbits Of Darkness documentary, two workers were involved in an industrial explosion at Peter Jackson’s Stone Street Studios in New Zealand. (Not the one that already burned down. The other one.) Fortunately neither crew member was seriously injured, though both suffered minor burns, while another sustained “burnt nostril hairs,” and they were briefly hospitalized mostly as a precaution. And the accident occurred away from the set, so it is not expected to affect production, or any of the other calamities that are predestined to befall it, all because Jackson once giggled at a Maori god.
