Today in sequels many apparently want news: Ivan Reitman re-ups for Ghostbusters III

Ghostbusters III has seemingly been in the works since the moment filming wrapped for Ghostbusters II. Now Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Ivan Reitman, director of the first two installments, has signed on to helm the third and plans to begin shooting sometime next year from a script by Office scribes Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. No word yet on casting though apparently the second sequel will inject some new blood into the franchise on account of the original ghostbusters being considerably older than fuck at this point.
