Up today: Godzilla, Mothra And King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack
Okay, this is a movie called Godzilla, Mothra And King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack… do we need to tell you anymore? Okay, here's a little more: This Toho production, the company's 25th Godzilla movie, came out in 2001 when the series was still recovering from the embarrassment of the 1998 American version. Though dormant now, the Godzilla series remained active both before and after that regrettable moment, though the films have remained largely unseen in the U.S. apart from fans of the giant monster, or kaiju, genre. Similar to Godzilla 2000, Godzilla, Mothra… etc. is an attempt to get back to series basics. Confusingly, however, it seems to take place in a world where the events of the American film happened but Godzilla hasn't been seen since 1954. But, whatever: It features Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah (and something called Baragon). They're giant monsters. And they all-out attack.
