Today's Trailer Happy Hour has a flying Rock and flying rockets

Mothers, lock up your teasers: It’s time for Trailer Happy Hour, the place where you can find all of the day’s hottest promotional videos that aren’t exciting enough to warrant their own dedicated post. Do you want a trailer for a Star Wars movie? Well, you’re out of luck. We only serve locally sourced, artisanal clips here at Trailer Happy Hour, and today we’ve got the Rock living in a ridiculously tall building, a man who realizes that dark magic might be the only way to break free from our Earthly bonds, a hotel for criminals (but not the one you’ve already seen in a different movie), and a TV show about some very fancy nails.

Here’s a new trailer for Dwayne Johnson’s Skyscraper, which graciously saves us all the trouble of actually having to see the movie. It’s not that the trailer is bad, it just gives away the entire plot of the movie, complete with dramatic stunts, one-liners, and a touching family reunion. If you still want to pay money to see a longer cut of Skyscraper (or you just want to get some use out of your MoviePass before the company dissolves), it’ll be in theaters on July 13.

If you happen to be a writer for a pop culture website who didn’t know who rocket engineer Jack Parsons was before watching this trailer, then there’s a good chance you’re not ready for the wild turns this one takes. The beginning of this Strange Angel clip makes it seem like one of those “science is cool!” dramas that teach us about the lesser-known people who helped shape modern society, but then Parsons starts freaking people out by falling in with a mysterious new crowd that has some fun ideas about magic. The show premieres on CBS All Access on June 14.

Everybody likes the weird mythology of John Wick, so Hotel Artemis grabbed a big chunk of that—specifically the secret hotel that exclusively caters to criminals—and built a totally different movie around it. Hotel Artemis favors sci-fi gadgets of John Wick’s baroque style, and it also has Jodie Foster, Sterling K. Brown, Jeff Goldblum, Dave Bautista, Sofia Boutella, Jenny Slate, and Charlie Day. All together, they’re at least as good as Keanu Reeves, right? We’ll know for sure when Hotel Artemis checks in June 8.

Finally, here’s a new trailer for the second season of TNT’s Claws, which we’re including here partly just so we can check in on Dean Norris. Earlier today, we reported that Norris—who appears on Claws as the ruthless Uncle Daddy—was on the hunt for some sex GIFs, and we just wanted to check in and make sure everybody was doing their part to help his search. Anyway, Claws comes back on June 10.
