This week's Index has conjoined twins, comic-book characters with nosejobs, and Eddie Murphy in yet another fat suit. But the creepiest, most unnatural thing on the Index is The Nasonex Bee: a CGI honeybee that sells allergy medication, has the libido of Pepe Le Pew, and sounds like Antonio Banderas. Why? That's unclear.
Evidently, Nasonex is trying to confuse and annoy people into buying squirtable allergy relief. Either that, or their target demographic is infants, who really would be the perfect audience for the Nasonex bee because they enjoy watching colorful blobs, are drawn to things with giant creepy eyes, and they don't have the motor skills to change the channel during commercials.
