Tom DeLonge is finally putting out that book about UFOs

When Tom DeLonge left Blink-182 back in 2015, he said that it was so he could focus his efforts on UFOs and national security issues. In that time, he’s released a smattering of novels and comic books, two Angels & Airwaves records, an album of demos and other odds and ends under his own name, got caught up in a WikiLeaks dump, and just last week announced he’s making a movie about aliens and skateboarding (but, sadly, not skateboarding aliens). So it’d stand to reason that DeLonge has enough on his plate, and has the whole aliens thing pretty well covered. But since Tom DeLonge seemingly never stops, today he’s announced the first book in a three-part series of non-fiction books co-authored by occult historian Peter Levenda.

Sekret Machines: GODS will be the released March 7 and the be the first installment in the series, followed by Sekret Machines: Man and Sekret Machines: War. DeLonge has previously used the Sekret Machines prefix for his fiction books, so his choice to use the same title certainly won’t be confusing to those that want UFO facts and those that want UFO follies. As the press release claims, Sekret Machines: GODS is “the result of input from scientists, engineers, intelligence officers, and military officials and transcends the speculation of journalists, historians and others whose conclusions are often either misinformed or only tease around the edges.” But the press release also calls DeLonge “Alt-Rock’s JK Rowling,” a statement that’s been confirmed by scientists, military officials, and Tom DeLonge’s brain.
