Tom Hanks and Ron Howard decipher cryptic message of "$$$$$" to find third Da Vinci Code movie

Although it was reported back in 2011 that Ron Howard had grown weary of making Da Vinci Code movies, finally exhausted by the tedium of tracing patterns, it seems Sony has now hit upon the mystical, numerological formula of just skipping the third book and going straight to the fourth one. Deadline reports that Howard. star Tom Hanks, and screenwriter David Koepp are all returning for Inferno, the adaptation of Brown’s most recent Robert Langdon point-and-click mystery, in which yet another elaborate, shadowy conspiracy is undone by someone’s fatal love of anagrams. That means The Lost Symbol will go ignored (as will Jonathan, again), until it’s discovered years from now, hidden behind a Kindergarten Cop poster at Imagine Entertainment, and deciphered as a secret map to a cache of more forgotten money.
