Tom Hanks sends White House press corps espresso machine, motivational note
Tom Hanks—who has played an American hero many times over, and may very well be one in real life too—is showing his support for the White House press corps by keeping its members caffeinated. He did that by sending over an espresso machine, according to NBC’s Peter Alexander. It came with a note, which appears to have been written on a typewriter. (Hanks, if you didn’t know, adores typewriters.) The missive from the movie star read: “Keep up the good fight for Truth, Justice, and the American Way. Especially for the Truth part.”
