Tom Hardy, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Tobey Maguire are teaming up for two separate movies about poaching

In an ostensible bid to show that they care way more about animals than that stupid old Sarah McLachlan does, Tom Hardy, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Tobey Maguire are working on two separate movies about poaching. What's more, they're both in development at the same studio, Warner Bros. The first film, which DiCaprio and Maguire will produce from a script from Sheldon Turner, stars Hardy as a former soldier who takes up the cause to protect rhinos and elephants from poachers in Zimbabwe. Much less is known about the second film, for which a writer has not yet been attached, other than that it'll be a broader look at the global trafficking of illegally obtained animal parts, and that it will probably make much less money than the first one, because audiences can only be guilted about animal rights so many times in a year.
