Tom Hiddleston is the latest guy who's supposed to star in The Crow remake
With Bradley Cooper slipping into the shadows, indistinguishable now from the very night, the remake of The Crow has been forced to find another actor, one who can similarly gaze fearlessly into the abyss while the abyss goes, “Hey, where’s Bradley Cooper? He and I were gonna get wings later.” Now, after passing through myriad rumored names of varying degrees of veracity like Mark Wahlberg, Channing Tatum, and James McAvoy, The Wrap reports this task may fall to Tom Hiddleston, the Thor and Avengers actor who hasn’t tired of playing supernatural creatures with anger issues yet. In fact, Hiddleston is so into assuming the role of the vengeful wraith made famous by Brandon Lee and that guy in your gym class who always got out of running, Hiddleston reportedly even sent producers “a makeup test that he did on his own in London.” Presumably this was based on the concept art that circulated shortly after Cooper dropped out, though—like so many other “makeup tests” performed by Crow fans over the years—it was mostly based on the way he feels… inside.
