Befitting a man who wears his air of mystery as plainly as his funeral-black suits and pork-pie hats, Tom Waits has dropped vague hints in recent months that he’s currently at work on a new record. He let another one slip today on his website, posting a photo showing the following lyrics from the album written on a chalkboard: “No good you say? Well, that’s good enough for me. You’re the same kind of bad as me.”
Yep, definitely sounds like Tom Waits. Of course, the post mentions nothing else about the record, but hopefully this is a harbinger of more to come.
