Acknowledging that this gives him more reason to push for the legalization of marijuana beyond the obvious, Tommy Chong revealed during a CNN interview that he has "a slow Stage One" form of prostate cancer that he's been fighting for "a long time." Chong went on to say that symptoms first arose while he was serving time for selling Nice Dreams-branded drug paraphernalia, during a time when he was necessarily weed-free, "so I know it had nothing to do with cannabis." In fact, Chong is, naturally, treating the disease "with hemp oil—with cannabis," and therefore "[legalizing marijuana] means a lot more to me than just being able to smoke a joint without being arrested." And as Cheech And Chong have illustrated over the years, it would also mean a significant nationwide increase in delightful comedies of errors.
