Tonight’s Will & Grace promises cowboy hats and musical numbers
Here’s what’s happening in the world of television for Thursday, October 18. All times are Eastern.
Top pick
Will & Grace (NBC, 9 p.m.): The second season of the revived Will & Grace—its 10th overall—didn’t start on a high note, precisely, but there are several reasons to be optimistic about “Tex And The City.” Item one: Jack wears a cowboy hat! Looking good, Sean Hayes. Item two: Leslie Jordan, who won an Emmy for the show in 2006, returns as Beverly Leslie, and that’s always good news. Item three: A musical number is promised by the episode description. Into it. And most importantly, item four: The episode features the return of Samuel Faraci as Jack’s grandson, Skip, who last appeared in the season nine standout “Grandpa Jack.”Also, for some reason Megan Mullally wears a catsuit on a four-wheeler.
Regular coverage
The Good Place (NBC, 8:30 p.m.)
How To Get Away With Murder (ABC, 10 p.m.)
Wild card
Making A Murderer (Netflix): One of Netflix’s biggest true-crime series returns for its second season tomorrow, so should you feel like freaking yourself the hell out, the first season awaits you. If you’d prefer a catchup of the fictional sort, Daredevil (Netflix) and Lore (Amazon) return tomorrow as well. You could also catch the first two episodes of The Romanoffs (Amazon) before the next two drop tomorrow. The world is your oyster.
