Top Chef (Bravo, 10 p.m.): We only had the two options for tonight’s top pick, but this one was a cinch once we read the episode summary and realized that Padma Lakshmi would be appearing on roller skates. Somebody riding roller skates? We so rarely see that on television, and now Bravo is gifting us with it. We hope all of you enjoy a peaceful, joyful Boxing Day, and we hope all of you are riding roller skates while you do that. We also know that there will be some cooking and stuff in this episode, too, but you’ll just be there for the roller skates.
REGULAR COVERAGE
The Hour (BBC America, 9 p.m.): Things are heating up on this show, with everybody having to make some big decisions on which story to pursue last week. But Todd VanDerWerff isn’t exactly sure why Bel couldn’t put her source up in a hotel or something if she was so worried for the woman’s safety.
WHAT ELSE IS ON
Amish Mafia: The Book Of Levi (Discovery, 8 p.m.): If you enjoy this new cable series, Discovery is airing three hours of it tonight for some reason. Plus, there will be a preview of upcoming episodes, in case you need your Amish Mafia fix and are unsatisfied with whatever Amish Mafia spoilers are out there.
Top 100 Video Games Of All Time (G4, 8 p.m.): In case you missed Rowan Kaiser’s take on this five-hour special earlier this year, you can watch the whole thing tonight. That’s right! Five hours of wondering where the hell Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist is supposed to be! And the Al Lowe talking head!
Ghost Hunters (Syfy, 9 p.m.): The ghost hunters take a trip to New York City to find out if something’s haunting the Friars Club. This is the place where we’d invite you to make all of your awful ghost jokes, because we don’t have any, but we know you’re already sharpening your pens. Go to it, folks!
Kennedy Center Honors (CBS, 9 p.m.): Every year, the Kennedy Center gathers a bunch of great artists and makes the President look at them, and if he gives them a thumbs down, they are put to death by the Kennedy Center lions. Or, at least, that’s how we remember it. You may recall things differently.
Saturday Night Live In The 2000s (VH1, 9 p.m.): Return to the halcyon days of three years ago and remember all of the great things you loved about Saturday Night Live in the 2000s. Like that one sketch! And the time Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon did that thing! And who could forget that one guy?
Fast Foods Gone Global (Travel, 10 p.m.): Judge us if you want, but we’ll be watching yet another hour of this program about the rest of the world trying to catch up to the United States in fast food innovation. You can try, rest of the world, but you know we will always best you in obesity standards!
Forty Guns (TCM, 8 p.m.): TCM is spending Boxing Day with Samuel Fuller. While we haven’t seen this one and can’t personally vouch to its quality, we know that Fuller’s worth catching up with, and if this is like any of his other pictures, you’ll probably have a hell of a good time watching it. So check it out!
Happy-Go-Lucky (Sundance, 8 p.m.): Or you could check out another great director’s work, as Sundance brings you Mike Leigh’s film about a woman who has a positive outlook on life—and the driving instructor who’s driven a little nuts by that. It’s great for praising or condemning neither of them.
Intolerable Cruelty (HBO Signature, 9 p.m.): Is this the weakest Coen Brothers film? It might be, but it’s still reliably entertaining, and George Clooney is a lot of fun as a divorce lawyer who falls hard for Catherine Zeta Jones, like so many of us did back in the early 2000s. It’s worth a laugh or two.
Little Caesars Bowl: Central Michigan vs. Western Kentucky (ESPN, 7:30 p.m.): Two lackluster teams—one at .500 and one barely above it—meeting in a meaningless game broadcast to you live from Detroit and sponsored by a lackluster pizza company? Yep, it must be late December and not early January yet.

Doctor Who (Wednesday): Did you like Jenna-Louise Coleman’s debut as the new Companion as much as our Twitter feed seemed to? More importantly: Did you enjoy watching the killer snowmen? Alasdair Wilkins knows that the only way to celebrate the holidays is with wanton snowman slaughter.
