Bandcamp is making a dedicated effort to try and wring some good things out of everyone’s hatred for Donald Trump, like with the site announcing that all proceeds this Friday will be donated to the ACLU, but for people who prefer more longterm Bandcamp initiatives, there’s the Our First 100 Days ongoing compilation album. The project is collecting 100 anti-Trump anthems for his first 100 days in office, and today’s new addition is “Omaha” from Toro Y Moi. You can stream the song below.
You can buy Our First 100 Days for $30, which is going to seem like a really good deal once we get another month or so into this thing and the tracklist starts reaching into the 40s. Also, all of the proceeds are going to “organizations working on the front lines of climate, women’s rights, immigration, and fairness,” so you can probably handle giving $30 to some good causes anyway.
