Toronto Film Festival adds titles by Kevin Smith, Michael Winterbottom, and Jean-Luc Godard

Last week the world first gazed upon the list of titles slated for the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, which included several big stars and buzzworthy directorial debuts. This second wave of announcements has even more titles that could cause one to contemplate the price of a trip to Canada. Kevin Smith’s horror/comedy Tusk is at the top of the list, screening in the “Midnight Madness” sector. Michael Winterbottom’s much-anticipated The Face Of An Angel, inspired by the story of Amanda Knox, will be part of the “Masters” lineup. And Jean-Luc Godard casts a long shadow over that section this year, with the 83-year-old ’s 39th feature film, Goodbye To Language 3D, making its North American premiere .

A slew of documentaries has also been added to the lineup, including the Ethan Hawke-directed Seymour: An Introduction (not to be confused with the J.D. Salinger book), which tells the story of renowned pianist Seymour Bernstein. The full list of all TIFF titles is available here.
