Totally normal person Mike Tyson gets a YouTube series, his own emojis

Possibly realizing that there’s a whole, fertile demographic of people who weren’t alive when he was convicted of raping a woman in 1992, or when he publicly bit off another man’s ear in 1997, Mike Tyson has announced that he’ll soon have his own YouTube series for the propagation of silly comedy sketches and other fun bits. As reported by Variety, Tyson has teamed up with YouTube comedy network Shots Studios, which counts million-plus-subscriber stars like Rudy Mancuso and Lele Pons (plus Vine stars like Justin Bieber’s little sister) among its roster of talent.

Tyson has been steadily moving into comedy in the last decade, following high-profile cameos in the Hangover movies with Adult Swim’s Mike Tyson Mysteries. He also recently injected himself into the ridiculous (and now-canceled) Chris Brown/Soulja Boy boxing feud, even posting a “diss track” filmed by Shots and aimed at Soulja Boy. The video has grabbed 2 million views to date, and mostly seems to feature Tyson rapping half-heartedly over footage of scantily clad women doing yoga.

And if that wasn’t enough, you can now also have cartoon versions of Tyson’s face on your phone, with the announcement that the former boxer and registered sex offender now has his own line of emojis. The line includes Tyson as an angel, Tyson as a devil, and Tyson with an actual, bloody bitten-off ear in his mouth, because it’s apparently been long enough for us to laugh about that sort of thing.
