"Toxic," "I Love It" producers team up to become Galantis

As Pharrell Williams’ new G I R L proves, some pretty good work can be made when iconic pop producers step out from behind the board and get in front of the mic. Galantis is the new group from Miike Snow’s Christian “Bloodshy” Karlsson (Grammy winning production duo Bloodshy & Avant, who have produced tracks like Britney Spears’ “Toxic”) and Style Of Eye’s Linus Eklow, who co-wrote and produced Icona Pop’s “I Love It.” The duo’s debut EP, also titled Galantis, isn’t out until April 1 on Big Beat Records, but A.V. Club readers can check out one of the EP’s tracks, “Help,” exclusively below.
