Tomorrow, Tracy Morgan returns to television alongside Tiffany Haddish in The Last O.G., five years after 30 Rock ended, and four since the car accident that nearly cost him his life. The show centers on Tray, played by Morgan, an ex-con adjusting to life in a gentrified Brooklyn, and reckoning with his sudden role as a father. At a SXSW panel for the show, we spoke with Morgan, Haddish, and Jorma Taccone (who directs the first episode) about Last O.G., gentrification, and why the show is about second chances.
