Witchcraft is a dangerous hobby for many reasons, the most notable being that it puts you in danger of getting burned at the stake and/or damned to an eternity in hell, but the people who have made peace with those possibilities still aren’t necessarily in for a good time. This quick teaser for the upcoming third season of WGN America’s Salem touches on one of the reasons for that, namely that sometimes bad things will happen as a result of reckless use of witch powers—especially if those witch powers are used to bring someone back from the dead. Did these witches never see Pet Sematary? Probably not, because the show takes place in the 1600s.
Luckily, that doesn’t prevent us future people from watching Salem, which will return to WGN America during “Halloween week.”
