Treat yo’ self to this Parks And Recreation tribute rap
The farewell season of Parks And Recreation debuts next week, which means it’s time for fans to start saying goodbye to the residents of Pawnee. And one fan is doing so through song. Musician Isaac Peabody uploaded a hip-hop tribute to the NBC comedy on his YouTube channel. Much like Parks And Rec, “Parks And Rap” effortlessly walks the line between nerdy and cool, with lyrics like, “I don’t know what I’ll do when Parks And Rec retires / I guess I’ve always got Cones of Dunshire.” Peabody manages to squeeze an impressive number of references into his two and a half minute tribute. The song even caught the eye of star Adam Scott, who tweeted, “Well done sir.”
