Treat your eyes to a 4K Blu-ray player and a 4K copy of Mechanic: Resurrection

High-definition content has had a good run, but soon it will be replaced by 4K ultra-HD stuff that will, presumably, make that normal HD stuff look like crap. For anyone who has yet to treat their eyes to a 4K video upgrade, The A.V. Club is giving away a 4K Blu-ray player (a Samsung UBD-K8500, to be exact) and a 4K copy of Jason Statham’s Mechanic: Resurrection for you to watch on it. The movie is already about Statham doing cool assassin stuff in fabulous locations, so just imagine how much more fabulous it’ll all look when the definition is higher than any of the other definitions you’ve previously experienced.

For your chance to win, simply send an email to [email protected] with the subject line ”4K Blu-ray” before Tuesday, November 22. We’ll pick a winner on Wednesday, November 23, notify them that day, and send out your 4k player in time for the holidays. Be sure to include your name and mailing address (no P.O. boxes, please) in the body of the email. Also, this contest is only open to U.S. residents, so everyone else’s eyes will have to stick with current high-definition technology.

Mechanic: Resurrection will be available for purchase on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD on November 22. You can see a trailer for Mechanic: Resurrection below.
