Trent Reznor in talks to score, act in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
If you’ve enjoyed seeing former dark lord Trent Reznor all prettified in his Oscar finery, you’ll be heartened to know that the Nine Inch Nails frontman may continue his current career trajectory with another soundtrack composing gig—this time for Timur Bekmambetov’s Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. First reported by Badass Digest (and confirmed by Entertainment Weekly), not only is the production negotiating with Reznor to score the film, but also to cameo as the vampire who kills Lincoln’s mom, thereby setting our 16th president on his path of bloodsucker-staking vengeance and concurrent efforts at emancipation. It would be Reznor’s first film role since his appearance in the Michael J. Fox/Joan Jett rock ’n’ roll dramas Light Of Day. Oh, did you not know Trent Reznor was in Light Of Day? He was, but don’t bother renting it. Just watch this.
