Trent Reznor says he told Ted Cruz to "fuck off" when he tried to get on a NIN guest list

It’s pretty well-established at this point that Ted Cruz suuucks, but the one person in the entire world who hasn’t quite recognized that is Ted Cruz himself. It would be a little sad if he weren’t quite so awful, because then maybe we could actually feel a little sympathy for him, but no, he’s just really goddamn awful. Last night, Trent Reznor took some time out from a Nine Inch Nails show in Cruz’s home state of Texas to give everyone an unnecessary reminder that Cruz sucks, putting on the house lights and asking the fan in attendance to raise their hands if they voted for Cruz over Beto O’Rourke.

That comes from Alternative Nation, which doesn’t say how many Cruz supporters were actually in attendance, but we do know that Reznor did his best to stop Cruz himself from stopping by. “He might be here tonight,” Reznor noted to the crowd, adding, “he was bugging to get on the guest list, and I told him to fuck off.” Reznor even claimed that they let Cruz on the guest list “a few years ago,” but he “drank all the beer and was just a pain in the ass to be around.” Drag him, Trent!

Alright, it’s not a brutal dunking, but you don’t need to put in much effort to make Cruz look bad. His gross beard is doing that all on its own.
