Buoyed by the screen-to-stage success of other movie adaptations like Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and The Wedding Singer, director Richard Donner recently revealed that he and Steven Spielberg are "passionate" about bringing beloved '80s kiddie caper movie The Goonies back as a Broadway musical. No further information was given, but one can only assume that there won't be a dry eye in the house after the showstopping Act II aria by Sloth, "Hey You Guys."
