Max Landis and the team behind his upcoming BBC America show Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency continue to wage the most aggressive, in-your-face marketing campaign ever launched on behalf of a cult favorite sci-fi comedy assembled from the pieces of Douglas Adams’ old scripts for Doctor Who. The latest teaser for the show—which stars Elijah Wood, Samuel Barnett, and a lot of shouting—avows that “Everything Is Connected,” and then rattles off dozens of objects that are ostensibly intermixed.
We have no idea what “corgis,” “bikers,” and “pararibulitis” have in common—or even what that last one is—but Landis and his cohorts seem loudly convinced that they’re linked. Presumably we’ll know more when Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency debuts on October 22 on BBC America.
