Turn on, tune in, watch the video of St. Vincent’s song for the Chemical Brothers
The Chemical Brothers have always been masters of the guest celebrity vocal, wrangling everyone from Noel Gallagher to Bloc Party’s Kele Okereke on past tracks. The group’s upcoming album, Born In The Echoes, continues that trend, with contributions from Beck, Q-Tip, and St. Vincent. The latter can be heard in the new video for “Under Neon Lights,” which just premiered online. Trippy and fractal, the clip is basically just a bunch of projections set roughly in time to both the Brothers’ tunes and Annie Clark’s hypnotic vocals. It would be irresponsible to suggest that the clip, below, would be better if you were on drugs, but, yeah.
The group also announced a string of summer tour dates, primarily in Europe, but with stop-offs at festivals in California and Illinois, too.
