June had the decency to start on a Sunday this year, which means that TV Club Classic’s summer schedule will begin then, too. As always, we have a bright, festive lineup of shows both popular and cult for you to dive into, and we hope you’ll join us for any or all of these features. Most begin next week, but some will begin later on, and it should all be a giant rolling ball of chaos, just like it always is.

Sundays:
It’s been a while since we dropped in on the world of Farscape, but Alasdair Wilkins is ready to take you through the end of that series’ run over 21 weeks of space-faring excitement. We’ll be bundling a few more episodes together than we usually do, in hopes of reaching the end in this run. We trust you to understand! The feature will run at 1 p.m. Eastern and re-launch on Sunday.
At 3 p.m. Eastern, we’ll be continuing apace with The Simpsons (Classic), as Erik Adams and his merry band of TV Club all-stars wind their way toward the end of season seven and eye season eight.
Mondays:
Oliver Sava will take you to the end of Justice League Unlimited at 1 p.m. Eastern, something he’s already doing. Once that’s over, though, he’ll dive into Disney’s Gargoyles later in the summer. Will anybody read about this? We don’t know, but the first season is short enough that we’re willing to find out.
Then at 3 p.m. Eastern, we’re bringing back Phil Dyess-Nugent’s Peep Show reviews in their original timeslot! It’s all in preparation for the latest season to reach U.S. shores later in the year, when we will hopefully have caught up to the show in real time. Fingers crossed! This feature will re-launch on June 2.
Tuesdays:
We’re pleased that Brandon Nowalk’s reviews of The Shield (Classic) will be leading off the Tuesday lineup, launching June 3 and running at 1 p.m. Eastern. These were some of our favorite TV Club Classic features last year, so we’re asking you to read them now. Please?
Then at 3 p.m. Eastern, Erik Adams continues his run through the first three seasons of the American Office. Once that’s over, he’ll go back and cover the first season of 30 Rock. You know. The one we didn’t cover originally.
Wednesdays:
Todd VanDerWerff’s quick run through Band Of Brothers will jusssst miss concluding before TV Club Classic summer launch week, as it will end June 4. But starting June 11 at 1 p.m. Eastern, he’ll be going through the first season of Lost, a handful of episodes at a time. You’d think it was too soon for this, but the show’s 10 years old. How time passes!
What time is it? It’s “That’s My Dog” time, because John Teti has made it to season four of Six Feet Under! His look at all things Fisher will re-launch June 4 and run at 3 p.m. Eastern.
Thursdays:
His long journey through the Star Trek universe done, Zack Handlen returns to the world of Monty Python’s Flying Circus, re-launching this feature June 5 at 1 p.m. Eastern. (Don’t tell Zack, but we’re hoping he’ll move from this to classic Futurama in the fall. Or we’re hoping someone will, at any rate.)
At 3 p.m. Eastern, Sonia Saraiya will continue her jaunt through the first season of Friday Night Lights, which you guys should really be reading about. Once that’s done, she’ll take a look at the first three seasons of Battlestar Galactica. Probably not the original, though. That just seems like a bad idea.
Fridays:
At 11 a.m. Eastern every other week, Rowan Kaiser will continue his look at Babylon 5’s final two seasons. The next installment will run on Friday, and then we’ll jump to June 13. We hope that makes sense. We’ll keep running until we reach the end of the show. Hooray!
Then at 3 p.m. Eastern, we’re no dummies. We saw how you responded to the TV Roundtable on Blackadder, so we’re having Kate Kulzick take a quick run through the show, which will launch June 6 and hopefully finish out the season this summer.
Saturdays:
It’s been a while since we dropped in on the world of The Twilight Zone, but Todd VanDerWerff and Zack Handlen are ready to finish out the show’s run this summer. The feature will re-launch June 7 at 1 p.m. Eastern.
And on the first Saturday of every month at 3 p.m. Eastern, Christopher Bahn will take a monthly sojourn into the world of classic Doctor Who. The feature will re-launch June 7. Something something exterminate!
