One of my favorite documentaries of last year, Sheriff, is airing this week on PBS' Independent Lens series. It debuts Wednesday night, January 3rd, but times and dates may vary from city to city. My review is here. I've seen it again since I wrote that review in March, and on second viewing, I think the movie is even more incisive than I'd thought about how this southern sheriff–and a lot of our current political leadership–sees the world. So set your TiVos. Then maybe we could all discuss it or something.
