Tweak Bird debuts the bludgeoningly catchy “Peace Walker”

It’s understandable that the members of L.A.-based duo Tweak Bird are on the same wavelength. Caleb Benjamin and Ashton Leech are brothers, and the music they make carries all the creative joy of boyhood, only amplified to ground-shaking volumes. Tweak Bird’s new full-length, Any Ol’ Way, is a testament to the siblings’ intuitive grasp of both grungy heaviness and horrendously large hooks, as evidenced on the track “Peace Walker” (which is being debuted here). With bludgeoning distortion at the bottom and sugary, psychedelic melodies on top, the song is just a taste of the album’s calorie-rich sludge-pop.

Any Ol’ Way will be released May 20 via Let’s Pretend.
