Twin Peaks is headed for the big hall at this year’s Comic-Con
In case the weekly (or bi-weekly) Sunday night screaming on your social media hasn’t made it clear, Showtime’s Twin Peaks revival is a big deal at the moment. So big, in fact, that it’s taking its place among the blockbuster superhero franchises at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, with Deadline reporting that the show’s first-ever SDCC appearance will land in the massive human pressure cooker known as Hall H. The series’ panel will take place on Friday, July 21, nestled in with shows like Preacher, Game Of Thrones, and The Walking Dead. (In other words, bloody TV royalty.) There’s no word yet on which of the show’s cast members are likely to be in attendance, although a strong turnout is expected for the show’s con debut. The real question, though, is whether creator David Lynch himself will be on hand to (not) answer people’s questions about Wally Brando, Dougie Jones, and whatever the hell happened in “The Return, Part 8”.
