Two glorious returns: The Police (as a band), Kiss (as comic-book heroes)
The Grammys have a way of snagging award-haters with some rather cool shit—2003's Joe Strummer tribute was pretty memorable in and of itself—and this year it will be the reunion of The Police, who will open the Feb. 11 broadcast, according to a press release. Rumors have been circulating for a while, and maybe it'll pan out and get Stewart Copeland back behind the drums where he belongs and off that damn reality show.
Via Newsarama: Kiss has created a comic-books company. Variety says its first release will be Kiss 4K, apparently the world's largest comic book, and it'll cost $50. The plot will concern "the transformation of Simmons, Stanley and other Kiss band members from rock stars to world-protecting warrior spirits."
